Preparation

This is a water-based product that is intended to be used as a covering for
walls or ceilings. It is very important to use a high quality primer/ sealer / stain
killer on the surface that Licodes ® will be applied to follow the manufactures
instructions for the primer / sealer/ stain killer application. We recommend that
two coats be applied.

Please Note: Existing wallpaper must be removed and any uneven surfaces
should be filled with poly filler prior to the application of the primer / stain killer
/ sealer. Extra care must be taken where highly stained surfaces exists such
as grease, nicotine or smoke. Improper sealing of these surfaces may allow
the stains to bleed through. To avoid any possible color or texture variations
between bags, mix enough Licodes ® to completely cover large areas where
color or texture variations would be obvious.


Instructions

Mixing: Empty the product into a large, clean plastic con-
tainer or bucket. Note that during shipping some product
settling may have occurred. Therefore you must break up
any clumps or clusters that may exist prior to adding any
water.

Add clean water as direct on the package label. (if using
water with high mineral or chemical content discoloration
may result.) Mix product by hand and let soak for 30
minutes. To achieve good coverage and proper consis-
tency thoroughly mix a second time immediately before
application.

Application: Take your time. The mixture will stay fresh
and moist in the container for many hours. To apply simply
place the mixed product onto the wall using a plastic
trowel spreading as needed to assure even coverage. If
you notice any bare spots once Licodes ® has dried you can
easily repair it by misting the area in question and reapplying
while remembering to feather the edges in order to blend in.

Cleaning: Licodes ® is very resistant to soil but if needed it can be easily
cleaned by lightly misting the dirty area with cold mild soapy water then blotting
the spot with a clean dry soft cloth.


Precautions: Use of eye and skin protection is recommended. If eye contact
occurs flush with large amounts of water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Do not
eat or swallow. If any of these occur seek medical care. Keep out of reach of
children. Wash shortly with mild soap and water after handling.

Intended Use: This product is not intended for use as flooring or to be used
in areas that have direct contact with water, such as: tubs, showers, steam
saunas, sinks, etc. Do not use this product in areas of open flame, high heat
or sparks. Use caution around electrical outlets. Only use this product with
adequate ventilation. Do not mix with other chemicals.
